Breach ( Noun) उल्लंघन

  • an act that breaks an agreement, a law, etc. नियम, समझौते की शर्तों आदि का उल्‍लंघन; नियम-भंग
  • Synonyms: Contravention, Violation, Infringement
  • Example Sentence: Security Breach in Parliament

 

intact (Adjective) : सही-सलामत

  • complete; not damaged साबुत; क्षतिग्रस्‍त नहीं, सही-सलामत
  • Synonyms: Unbroken, undamaged,unharmed
  • Antonyms : broken, damage
  • Example Sentence: Unfortunately it’s missing the stills from the film, but the text is still intact.

 

Swirl (Verb) : 

  • to make or cause something to make fast circular movements चक्‍कर खाते हुए घूमना या (किसी को) घुमाना
  • Synonyms: whirl
  • Example Sentence:Her long skirt swirled round her legs as she danced.

 

Fortuitous (Adjective )आकस्मिक

  • happening by chance rather than intention. इरादे के बजाय संयोग से घटित हो रहा है।
  • Synonyms:Unexpected, Unanticipated, Chance
  • Antonyms: Planned, hapless, intenstional
  • Example Sentence: The ball went into the goal by a fortuitous ricochet

Verbatim (adjective , adverb) शब्‍दश 

  • exactly as it was spoken or written जैसा बोला या लिखा गया ठीक वैसा; शब्‍दश
  • Synonyms:  word for word, letter for letter , line for line, exactly
  • Antonyms : loosely, imprecisely, Inexactly
  • Example Sentence: But their notes are a resume of proceedings, not a verbatim account.

 

Irreversible (Adjective): अचल

  • that cannot be stopped or changed जिसे रोका या बदला न जा सके; अपरिवर्त्य, अनुत्‍क्रमणीय
  • Synonyms: Irreparable, Unrepairable
  • Antonyms: Reversible, Temporary
  • Example Sentence: The disease can do irreversible damage to the body.

Retrofitted (Verb): पुनः सज्जित​

  • add (a component or accessory) to something that did not have it when manufactured. किसी ऐसी चीज़ में (एक घटक या सहायक) जोड़ना जो निर्माण के समय उसमें नहीं था।
  • Synonyms: Rebuild, Build, Reconstruct, Redevelop.
  • Antonyms: Update, Refit, Modernize, Disassembled
  • Example Sentence: The factory has been retrofitted to meet the new safety regulations.

​furious (adjective): उग्र, प्रचंड

  • very strong; violent ज़ोरदार; उग्र, प्रचंड
  • Synonyms: violent ,acrid ,dire ,frantic
  • Antonyms: Calm, Placid
  • Example Sentence: He was furious at having to catch the train home.

Perspicacious (adjective): भेदक

  • having a ready insight into and understanding of things. चीज़ों के बारे में पूरी जानकारी और समझ होना।
  • Synonyms: discerning, shrewd,perceptive
  • Antonyms:  Foolish, idiotic, moronic
  • Example Sentence: The point is elaborated by the perspicacious professor a little later.
